About Me:

I am no longer a seedling in an enlightened human forest.  I'm more like a sprout.  I'm new to Gaia. I just had to join because I feel I need to find out more …..  about other ideas about our planet, existence, life and … life after life.  Of course, I'm under no delusion that anyone can provide the answers to my questions, but at least I can discuss it intelligently here.

I'm an artist and writer of many years experience.  I often spread the word to love the Earth, think more critically and just chill and be happy.  I mean, when you look at pictures of Earth ………. wow! What a beauty!  I don't know if it's true that I've been to other planets in other incarnations or in alternate dimensions, but in my ability to estimate my interpretation of beauty, through my artist's eyes ….. this planet is total celestial eye candy!  Don'tcha think?

I'm a late baby-boomer; one of the last. We haved lived in the most hedonistic, spoiled thought happy era of human history and many factors are trying to take it away from us now.  Don't get me wrong!  I loved every minute of it!  But now we aren't allowed to waste anymore; we recycle instead of throwing everything in the landfills, we have more allergies, can't wear fragrance anymore and are more aware of how we live now as it affects our future.  We are forced to cut back on so many things, for our economy, for our health, for the recession, for the health of our planet AND for humankind.

(Humans.  (quiet chuckle)  Marvellous, curious creatures.)

We had it really good, and I'm glad I lived in this time with all the latest technology at our fingertips, a beautiful planet that many took, and continue to take, advantage of, the birth and explosive growth of the Internet, where we can get any information in the click of a mouse …. and too much food!  I'm not ranting; I'm celebrating “The Spoiled Age” as it goes into the west … and diminishes.

I feel a change coming, but a GOOD one.  It gives me the chillsies just thinking about it.  We'll see what happens.  Oui?

Peace and immortality,

Kate
